A little clarity. A lot more life.
Less piecing it together.
More knowing where you stand.
We’re building one place for your spending, income, investments and goals. A clearer picture, starting with your everyday money.
Android 8.0+ · Early APK available
A look at the vision. Explore the app below.
Download Kosh, the Android app behind Tinward. This early release tracks supported transaction messages and statement imports. The website shows our broader vision; some features and the appearance shown here are still in development.
Version 0.2.0 · Android 8.0+ · Free · Early release
Already using Kosh? This release uses a new signing key and cannot update an installation signed with the old key. If Android rejects the update, keep your existing app installed. Uninstalling removes its local data. This download does not migrate data from another installation.
An account for bills. Another for everyday spending. Investments somewhere else. Each one shows a number. None shows the whole picture.
Income arrives. For a moment, everything feels simple.
Rent leaves one account. Everyday purchases leave another.
You open your bank app. It shows a balance, not a story.
A loan payment is due. Which account was it coming from?
You open the spreadsheet. Last updated: August.
Month-end. Plenty of numbers. Still no clear sense of where you stand.
You’re not bad with money. Your money is just spread across too many places.

01 The everyday picture
Income, spending and account activity, brought into one place. A calmer way to understand the month before getting lost in the details.
Transaction summaries are in the Android app. Available-to-spend planning is in development.
Illustrative USD figures, not customer data. These concepts include planned functionality; the Android app may look different.
When a supported bank sends a transaction message, Tinward can turn it into a useful record on your phone. Amount, account and purpose, with room to review what it can’t know.
Current regional support: Selected Indian message formats from HDFC, Kotak and Slice, plus a general UPI format. Broader coverage is not available yet. Messages Tinward doesn’t recognise are skipped, and a category can be wrong. That’s what the review queue is for.

The balance in your account isn’t all available to spend. Tinward’s planned budget view will set aside bills, repayments and savings goals, so you can see what is genuinely left.

Stocks, funds, retirement accounts, property or savings. The planned wealth view gives each a place. Add a holding, update its value when you check it, and keep the bigger picture close.
Manual by design. The planned tracker uses values you enter. Broker connections and live prices are not implemented. You decide what belongs in your picture.

One number for where you stand today. And month after month, a quiet answer to the question underneath all the others: am I moving in the right direction?
The planned view brings recorded account balances, asset values and liabilities together. A snapshot, only as current as your last update.

Get the early Kosh APK from the download section. You need Android 8.0 or newer. Read the existing-user warning before attempting an update.
Import a supported statement, allow supported message access, or add a transaction manually. Format coverage is limited; not every bank or region is supported.
Tinward files what it recognises. Uncertain purposes and categories need review. Choose a category once and it sticks for that merchant.
Follow your spending as it happens. Planning, investments and net worth join as those features arrive.
Tinward is local-first, and you don’t have to take our word for it: the app is open source, so every claim here points at real code.
READ_SMSLets Tinward read your existing bank messages once, to build your history.
RECEIVE_SMSLets Tinward notice new transaction messages as they arrive.
Statement import uses Android’s file picker and needs no SMS access at all.
The app downloads Manrope through Google Play services, with a system-font fallback. That’s a font request, not financial data.
Early access is free. We’re considering two plans, with room to grow when you need it.
Proposed plans. Features and regional prices are not final. No payment is taken on this website.

A personal finance app being built to bring spending, income and your wider financial picture together. The Android app currently focuses on transactions and categories. Budgets, manual investment tracking and net worth are in development.
The Android APK is available, but this preview does not accept email signups. Automatic message parsing currently supports selected Indian formats, including HDFC, Kotak, Slice and general UPI messages. Statement imports also require supported formats. Coverage is not worldwide.
An early Android APK is available in the download section. It installs as Kosh, the app behind Tinward, and requires Android 8.0 or newer. The website includes planned features and a design vision that are not all in this build. Read the installation and existing-user notes before downloading.
Joining early access is free. We are considering a free plan and an optional Plus plan, but features and prices are not final. Regional prices will be published when they are configured. There is no checkout and no payment is requested.
With permission, the Android app reads supported transaction messages locally and extracts the amount, date and account. Matching debit and credit references help identify transfers. Some messages are not recognised and some purposes need review, so verify totals against bank records. It does not connect to banks worldwide.
In the current Android app, transactions, original messages and learned categories live in a local database. The app does not request internet permission and has no financial-data upload or analytics integration. This website separately collects the information you enter in the early-access form.
These are planned capabilities. The intended approach is manual: record stocks, funds, retirement accounts and other assets, then update their values yourself. Broker connections and live market prices are not implemented.
The current project is built for Android 8.0 and newer. There is no iOS release or web finance dashboard. The interactive screens here show synthetic examples, including planned functionality.
Email signup and invitations are temporarily unavailable on this static preview. The Android APK can be downloaded without joining a list.
